How To Remove Car Polish From Plastics and Rubber

Ever polished your car using normal car wax/polish and some got on the trim round your windows/sunroof… Or even your black plastic bumpers…

If that sounds familiar then you’ll know exactly how hard it is to get rid of that white streaking/staining left by the polish.

I used to try for hours to remove it using a range of polishes, sprays, etc all claiming to get rid of the problem…

You can basically use any oil based product to replenish the plastics (as they are made from oils in the first place) problem is you cannot get the stuff out in the first place.

The answer?

Simple, a bog standard pencil rubber – that’s right the big white ones you can get from Stationary Box, Staples, etc. These cost about 50p and will enabled you to rub away the stains. Works perfectly on any car I have used them on. Fords, Renaults, etc.

Whats even better about these is that because they are square/rectangular this means you can get right up again the paintworks surface to get right in the gaps you’d never get a cloth. And whats more being rubber it will not damage your paintwork…

Top top number one and it’ll save you a fortune!
