Closeup Filters For DSLR’s
Aug 12th
Well I thought I’d throw in my 2 cents worth about these type of filters…
I have been using my Nikon DSLR for approx 9 months now and I love it… but sometimes it is difficult to get the level of detail I want from my standard 18-55mm AF-S lens.
This is where Macro comes into it, however a 105mm AF-S Micro (Macro) lens is approx £550 from Nikon… quite a lot of money for something that I don’t use all the time…
The answer? A Closeup filter set off eBay – £15 delivered.

Ghostery – Firefox Add-On
Aug 8th
A lot of websites will track or monitor what you do or where you go online. Basically, so that the authors can get an understanding of their audiences, so that trends can be gathered for additional content, advertising or any other type of profitable gain.
There used to be an Internet Explorer Add-on called EyeDecide, many years ago, which allowed you to stop certain websites loading monitoring cookies or scripts.
Well, for FireFox, here is Ghostery!
