Well I have two Nikon DSLR’s, I also have a Macbook and I want to shoot tethered when I am in the studio. It’s easier to check my focus/composition when I see it on my lovely Macbook screen.
So do I want to pay hundreds of pounds for Nikon Camera Control Pro 2? – Not really…
Do I want it for free… yes please…So how do I get it I hear you shout – simple – use another product….
Now, before you leave in a strop and wonder why use another product. I have been using this product for about 6 months and it does everything I used NCCP2 for for nothing!
The software is called Sofortbild and is available from http://www.sofortbildapp.com/
The latest version supports the D300s and D3s including live view!
I really can’t recommend that you try this! Best free app I use on my Macbook by far!
