So the time had come to upgrade my camera to a current generation DSLR.

Closeup Filters For DSLR’s

Well I thought I’d throw in my 2 cents worth about these type of filters…

I have been using my Nikon DSLR for approx 9 months now and I love it… but sometimes it is difficult to get the level of detail I want from my standard 18-55mm AF-S lens.

This is where Macro comes into it, however a 105mm AF-S Micro (Macro) lens is approx £550 from Nikon… quite a lot of money for something that I don’t use all the time…

The answer? A Closeup filter set off eBay – £15 delivered.
